Sometimes i think too much and can be rather emotions-driven. Curious about my love life? Well, the love of my life is God! I love gorry, bloody and gruesome movies and thrillers, such as SAW 1,2,3 ; Mindhunter; When a stranger calls etc. Jazz musics are pleasing to my ears. Buildiing a strong and biblical guys group to win the world is my vision!

east chalet!!!

HI all! i believe that all of us agreed that X29 camp is fun, crazy, mad, exciting and ministering isn't it? remember our district was the most excited during the 10th anniversary which stood up and clap for EVERY district? What about the district performances? Dennis Chua chasing after esther with that freaking BIGchopper? Ah-bee with her huge, giganticdrumstick? haha. And do you recall the night which dennis challenged the district at 2nd floor at... 2am?! haha.
BUT... if you think that's all... YOU ARE SOSOSOSOSOSOSO WRONG!!!!!!! here comes out very own EAST Chalet!!!!!!!!!! yEaH!!! =D
For Cls (26-28th dec): You are in for a real memorable and crazy 3N2D chalet! We are going to be a child and play many long-forgotten games! haha. Not forgetting our very first human CS!!!! WAH!!!! cool!!! there's many many many more stuffs in stored for ya! Cya at tamp small mac @2pm on 26th dec! =)
For everyone (27-28th dec): Who of you know who's our very first district leaders when east started? Did you know that Shirley, our very pastor, actually led East before? Did you know that East had 3 RCs in total? Did you know that East had a chalet at aloha changi 3 years ago? ... And, have you seen joy in her sec 2 KC uniform, cheng lee having her LONG hair and in her Green View sec uniform, dennis in his NS uniform???

The double-storey terraces are fully furbished with living room set with TV and games table; dining area; 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, furbished with beds (1 queen-sized and 4 single-sized), wardrobe, dresser, bedside table and wall fan; 3 toilets /bath with shower heater; BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.
Getting there:
Take the east bound train to Tampines MRT station. Transfer to Bus no. 29. Check out our map to locate your chalet and determine where you should alight.
Bring: 1. Cls - $15 for chalet (bring at least $5 extra) - bring 2-3 sets of clothes. - running shoes (MUST!) - shower thingy - bible and sermon book -guys bring sleeping bag!
2. everyone -$ 7 for chalet ( bring extra $) - bring at least a set of clothe to change - bible and sermon book - bring own sleep bag if u wanna sleep =) - xmas cards/ gifts if you haven give

east d bbq

Alright! After one month, i decided to post about the EastD BBQ!!! HAHA!
OK, let me clarify. I really posted all the pics, and i saved it under draft. So my heart was sincere! BUT....... heeheee... spirit is willing, but body is weak. heehee...
Anyway we had our very own EastD BBQ on the 20th Nov! It was really a very fun-filled and faith boosting event for us! For my cg, the confirmation we had was.... 23!!!!!! WAH!!! And on the day, total eastd we have 35!! And my cg had 12 visitor!!! YEAH!!! haha. It was a breakthru for EastD1! =D The whole event was held at Sunplaza park. We met at around 4pm, and we had different groups of visitors with us. Introducing the1st group, the 'F4' from Damai Primary: Left-right: Howard, benjamin, wei lin. ( BY RIGHT, there should be 4. but dun know why kelvin not int he pics haha)
2nd group of friends: me and mandon! haha =)
3rd: left to right: jia en, newell, joshua ( joshua looked like a tortise isnt't it?! haha!!!)
4th: the 2 looking up: ricky and nicholas.
Some were trying to ACT shy! haha. =P
last but not least: the unknown... HAHA! why he's called the unknown is becos... we just appeared out of no where and join us! haha. All i know about him is that... he's pri5... he play bb at sunplaza quite often.... and... HE ATE OUR BBQ FOR FREE!!!! =X ( ok la. EastD very giving one hor! haha)
So while waiting for the rest to come, we did these: play crocodile...
playing poker and doing forfeits haha!
and also, having our EastD monkey, joshua, on the bb net! YEAH! haha.
When most people reached, bing and a few started the fire and... BBQ starts!!!
Once the BBQ started, he didnt have any time to run around to take pics. I was busy making sure that everyone was taken care of and people are not left out. Before dennis left the place he reminded me and a few others to play the game correctly.
In an event with many people, it's very easy for us to mis focus. As leaders, we should try our best to connect to individuals, instead of just knowing everyone surface-ly!
At the end of the day, we had fun, people were connected. And 2 highlights i rmb was the blowing of the 'balloon' with water all over the table, and the spraying of water! everyone was wet! It was awesome! Definitely memorable. O yea, not forgetting, they celebrated my birthday. HEEHEE =P Anyway, I was so stupid! Cos while they were praying for me, i can feel the evil aura. So i took off my spec. And i was right! Once they say amen, cakes were splashed onto my face and HAIR!!! Mad lor!
Anyway, just wanna intro our fav of the day: Hotdogs and CHEESE SAUSAGE!!!
And our satays! pple were crowding around for it lor! haha
Anyway, really want to affirm those who were there to make the whole thing work out! Thanks to those who bbq faithfully, talking and connecting with people, also to the planning team (alfon and minjie), and not forgetting our MARIAs!!!! left-right: alvin, wilfred, joushua.
~EastD, we really got to start chionging! No more slacking! We have slack enough. Now is the time for us to do something! We keep praying for god's hands to move, but ever realised that our own hands rarely moved much?

2 Dec. First time have jacq back in our ULM after 2 months!!! yeah!!! (even though she forgot to bring my present out! =X)
we met in the morning to buy food(the early bird =D), and waited at the mrt station for the rest (late comers are condemned! =X)
after one hour, we finally get on our way to Pasir ris park! YeaH! On the bus, some of us are just bored and we decided to... ... ... heeheehee...

thank god i wasn't the only one! hahaha! guess who is she? . . . . . . . . . .
Hope u are right! HAHA! she really look like a XIAO-CHA-BOR heehee! =P
Anyway, we found a nice spot on the rock and have our picnic, under the 12pm freaking hot sun!
Really enjoyed myself a lot spending quality time we the people close to my heart since One of my love language is quality time! Especially having jacq sharing to us about her trip in China. =)
o yea! Before i forgot, cheng did a stupid thing, again! Cos one of our plastic bag flew away, and she wanted to go pick it up. so she started running after the plastic bag. BUT... ... she was really... really.... haiz. Dunno how to describe her too! Just look at the pics and you will understand!
Getting both feet under mud!!! HAHAHA! BE secure k? cheng lee.. haha.. All of us were excited and high, and decided to just play ball game! From monkey to touch-rugby, to soccer. haha. Seeing one another running around the place crazily is really entertaining! Pls try in your own cg as well! haha.
After like 1hour, everyone was tired and wanted to take a break when someone came out with the idea of plucking coconut down form the tree and have free coconut juice! At first, i thought they were joking. But... .... see for yourself man!

MADNESS!!! haha. In the end, we really managed to have 2 coconuts down and enjoy the fruits! heehee. so cool! There were so much that we have to pour into the water bottle! hahaha! What a joke! heehee =P
(okay, look at the 2 persons in the background! Aren't they just simply so... ACT CUTE?!?! HAHA!)
It was really a fun time! Seeing one another doing stuffs, and just enjoying one another presence. Sometimes i hear people telling me that they are afraid to take up leadership roles is because it seems very stressed and not fun at all. And in my mind, i thinking "when is serving god not fun?!" haha.
Yes. I do agreed that being a leader is not easy. neither is serving god easy! But one thing i really believe and experienced is this: The higher leadership you go, the tougher things will get! But the tougher things get, the more god's reality will be revealed too!
