Some people accused that i'm lame. Well, i do find myself guilty, sometimes. Of course, at times, you will find me in very deep thoughts. I'm created to be thinker too.
Sometimes i think too much and can be rather emotions-driven. Curious about my love life? Well, the love of my life is God! I love gorry, bloody and gruesome movies and thrillers, such as SAW 1,2,3 ; Mindhunter; When a stranger calls etc. Jazz musics are pleasing to my ears. Buildiing a strong and biblical guys group to win the world is my vision!

When you look at a cheerful and helpful person, you must be thinking, 'This person has all the things that he needed, that's why he is able to help others.'
Nope.
It's just that the person is big-hearted enough to think of others' well-being before his. And when he helps others, his reward is the irreplaceable joy that's better than having his needs met. This is what I see in some of the DIans. So needy, yet so selfless. It doesn't take a Mother Theresa to be selfless, you know.
Behind every face, there is a story to tell. Everyone wants his/her story to be known no matter how much they deny it. There is just simply no perfectly positive and whole person. But we can't have everyone talking about themselves at the same time. Neither can we have everybody keeping things to themselves. Sometimes, listening to another person's sad experience can actually heal your own wounds and let you discover more about yourself. And if you will just stop looking at your life with a critical eye and spot all the good things in it, you might just realise what you are searching for all along is right before your eyes.
So why not today just take a step back, see the big picture, and start living for others.

pioneering!

Time really flies. In a blink of an eye, one week is going to end le. This week have really been an exciting week! I went down to springfield almost everyday to get to know more people with the springfield team! so fun haha... in fact on monday, i actually 'pon' econs lecture to come and join alfon. We have done stupid and radical stuffs in these few day. haha. Monday, we (alfon in full school-uniform) went to appraoch some guys sitting along the basketball court and kana freak out by the guard; then thursday we (including me, alfon, andrew, mag, yanyu) decided to went into the school after waititng outside the gate for quite someitme. Honestly, i was worried that the guard will chase us out. But when we went in, though he got see us, he didnt say anything. Then, we saw this bunch of guys, all from basketball school team, slacking at bb court. My first thought- "How to approach?! Let's look for other people la..." But suddenly, andrew suggested us to go approach them and even told me "bu yao pa!" I knew i had to show good example. So in the end i took the lead, deny my rights and appraoch them!!! 10+ of them sia!!! scary sia! But, end of the day, few of them were rather responsive and we could easily talk to them!! Praise god!!! =)sometimes, it really puzzled me when i hear people telling me that "pioneering boring sia! Everyday do the same thing one!","or serving god is boring!"My only question: Have you really serve God enough to be able to come out with such conclusion! Because the God that i'm serving and i know is a VERY EXCITING God!!! so people who complain it's boring--- You haven really serve god hard enough!!!! Anyway, i need to go sleep le. I'm starting to type words that i dun even understand hahaha. Nitez. =)

first frontier camp!

seriously speaking, i really dun know how to start off this post. haha... Anyway, i really think that this is one of the most memorable camp in terms of people. My most memorable camp in terms of spiritual touch-down would be last year june camp, whereby my life was COMPLETELY open to God and Dennis. This is the very first time i acted on stage in front of the whole church. I dun know how well i did, but i was really FUN!!!! I'm acted for the opening and closing ceremony as a watermelon seed, aka Blacky. The drama shows how ugly seeds can, in the end, grow into useful and tasty fruits! I'm also involved in the mega event, acted as a statue. heez. I'm considering joining drama. shhh..... haha.... During this camp i had fun with my guys too! Haha. Especially on the second night, when we offer a 'sacrifice' unto the Lord hahah!!! Indeed memorable! heez... And we definitaly had fun as a whole East D guys! It has really been a long time since the whole East D had so much fun! haha. Really brought back the memories when i was still in East d2! hahaha. Freaking long ago!We did stupid things like singing birthday songs to Louis every meal and squeezed toothpaste while people are sleeping (i'm the victim!). Really had fun!Of cos not just about the fun with had, but also, i saw life transformation! Wanan share about my sheep, Brendon. He left Yhope a year ago, but came back in the Feb this year. Though he came back, he was not serious about serving God etc. I was really lost at that time as i didnt know how to handle him. even this camp, he was rather reluctant to come. But thank god he made the correct choice to come down despite all the difficultites! and as he honour God, He honours him by transforming him in the camp! He responded to God, with a very sincere heart. I truly believe God will use him greatly in this CG 08!!!!!!!!!`GO BREND! I had a very unique spiritual encounter with God on the second night man! IT was feakish!!!! I was worshipping, but i cant really get into it fully. So i was asking God "I want to get into the inner courts, and not just stand outside the veil!" Then suddenly, some prophesied, saying "god wana some of us here to come into the holies of holy........." and then i was thinking to myself, "God, are you talking to me?" And i started to post questions to Him. What was so freakish- God used 5 diff people to speak to me! The word that God gave them were the EXACT answer to ALL my questions!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! Can never forget sia!!!! =02 things that i learnt and wanna apply:1. It just takes ONE generation to destroy everything! When i was reminded of this, i was completely shocked. The pioneers of Hope Church have given their all to come this far, and i will never want to allow myself to destoy what they have built! I must build strong and biblical guys who will win the world!2. Building a HA community! HOLY + ATTRACTIVE= HA! The hurch must build a community where people can come together to have fun, without having to wear their 'masks' on! And not just fun, but also holy! A community that obeys the bible, and encourages one another! Only with a strong community, then can CG 08 Be possible!!! -photos will posted asap- =)

exam finally finished!!!!

YEAH!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!! Exam's finished le! Honestly speaking, i'm not very stressed by it. But i think it's really a good guage for me to know how poly exam is like, so that i can better prepare myself for future exam! heez... Though it's not very stressful, i really wanted to give my very best for it!
This week have been a really
busy week. It's packed with rehearsals, studying and meeting people. At times it can really drained me out, and just sucks my life out of it. But, i immunised myself last week le. I knew that this was
going to happen. That's why i made sure that my spiritual man is being fed everyday, thus spending daily QT with God. Still, it's
physically tiring. =X
As camp is drawing closer, there is just this sense of excitment!!!! A very strong one indeed! i know God is going to speak big time into many people's lives, and blow them off!!!!! But there is also a sense of
fear. I not scared about the camp or the people... but it's just that i know God is going to speak, yet i'm afraid that i'm not ready enough for Him to use. nvm... Going to spend sometime with God thinking through stuffs. Keep me in prayers =)

haha. i really really really thank God that i have Him in my life! Life with him is so meaningful and exciting! haha...
WED
BGR seminar!!! it's really since a long long time since we have workshops and seminars on this topic le. Some of you must be thinking "BORING!" But i believe with all my heart that it's so important for us, as christians, to know what does the bible talks about BGR and sexuality. The world is sending us different informations on such issues, and if the Church, the answer to all the world problem, is afraid to stand up and boldly talk about it, then it useless man! For those non-christians friends, i just wanna let you know that ' Christian cannot have BGR' is SOSOSOSOSOSOSOSOSO WRONG!!!!!!!!! Because God did created Adam and Eve, and not adam and steve!
A few things that i learn/ reminded of:
1. When we give the best days of our lives to God (youth), God will honour us!!! One way-by giving us our perfect one when the time comes!!!
2. If you/ your partner do not know what's your/his/her life mission and vision, and you wanna get seriuos- COME ON!! wake up! IT"S NOT GOING TO WORK! Imagine next time you wanna back-pack travelling and she only wanna stay in spore then how? Guys, you will just ended up chasing after skirts after skirts!
3. If you can't even repect your parents and you wanna get serious with someone, you are not going to respect him/her either! Because when you are giving your partner the authority over your life. If you cant even respect the pple who have that authoritive role right now, how u going to respect your partner?
Maybe some of you asking "why think so much? I just wanna play play only one!" Then my question "why do you want to waste you and your partner time? There's so much more to life other than chasing after skirts man!"

Vesak Day! Let's go temple! haha. Just joking... heez. I attended my very first mission conference!!! the last time our church had a mission conference was ten years ago! haha.
Anyway, Definition of mission:
A body of persons sent to a foreign land by a religious organization, especially a Christian organization, to spread its faith or provide educational, medical, and other assistance.
There's so many that I have learnt! In fact, i attended this workshop 'How do i know whether i am ready for church planting?' IT's so cool! Teaches me how to prepare myself for future church planting! ya.... i know some of you may be thinking "SIAO AR?! So young think of what church planting?!" Well, that's my CONVICTION! Like it anot- Too bad! I'm really so convicted that the Church of God are called to be fruitful and we MUST MUST MUST obey the Graet Commission with all our heart, soul, mind and strength!!! Singapore is just too small man! =)
FRI
All the Est CLs came together and really took time out to pray. SO cool sia! haha. It was a day of assurance! God gave us words of phohesies, and most of them was really to assure the whole leadership of east that God IS WITH US!!! AMEN! Really refreshed and charged up!
GOD, i'm ready for your touch tomorrow! =)
